SCL -TRAFFIC TRANSFORM
New zero-emission digital transport system
Automatic long-distance freight transport, without lorries, without drivers.
SCL relieves traffic
SCL alleviates congestion on motorways, as long-distance freight containers are transported by SCL. One lane of SCL replaces three motorway lanes.
SCL is emission-free
SCL uses green electricity, is emission-free and does not emit any CO₂. It reduces emissions from transport by 5-10%.
SCL is a power plant
SCL is a power plant, generating a significant portion of the required green electricity itself.

SCL stands for St. Christophorus Line, named after the patron saint of road traffic. SCL connects and relieves road and rail traffic. Furthermore, no new motorway construction is necessary, as SCL uses the existing motorway route.

How SCL works
Alongside or on the hard shoulder, depending on requirements, a conveyor belt powered by electric motors running on green electricity runs non-stop, day and night, or on the first floor.
Every 20 km, similar to motorway slip roads, there is a second lane (collector) approximately 250 m long. At the start of the collector, the freight is placed on the acceleration lane and brought up to the cruising speed of the main unit (SCL) before being fed into the main unit at the feed point.
Right at the start, the SCL route is digitally set on your smartphone.
Why SCL?
We have enough motorways, we just need to use them differently!
With SCL, we are connecting and relieving our two overloaded transport systems, road and rail.
Our railways are hopelessly overloaded. They will never be able to meet our requirements, even after the announced repair work.
Our roads are also congested, both country roads and motorways. We are all familiar with the unspeakable traffic jams, especially on the motorway. But the solution cannot be to keep building new motorways and destroying nature. Biodiversity has already declined dramatically, but we continue to build motorways as if everything were fine. The transport report dated 24 October 2024 from the Federal Minister of Transport states that freight transport will increase by around a third by 2040 – road construction must continue, says the minister.
STOP - that doesn't have to be the case. It is also possible without new motorways with SCL.

The logistics industry is achieving unprecedented sales growth, as freight travels almost twice as fast with SCL, and fully automatically, without lorry drivers. Drivers are needed to bring the freight to the SCL starting point and then to the freight recipient at the delivery point. It can be transported fully automatically day and night. This alone allows us to double our transport volumes. All in all, approximately three times as much freight can be transported with SCL as is possible today.
SCL is for everyone
SCL is for everyone: freight containers, cars, lorries, buses, passenger carriages (as with trains)
